A California native, Judith Sanders'
interest in art started at a very young age. Both parents were
artists and encouraged her. Later, living in Newport Beach,
California, she was inspired by art from the local area and from
Laguna. Judith has always gravitated to the human form, animals and
whimsy. Her primary medium is water media. However, she has had
her hands in several media including oils, pastels, charcoal and
graphite. When I am creating a
new painting I fully involve myself in the process. Kind of like a
child with new crayons. I like to try new effects and hope that my
audience feels the wonder and excitement I find when I paint. I want
them to say, "How did she do that?" and "What was she thinking when
she got the idea?" |
